St. Anne Students to Represent School in Amani Club Debate Competition in Arusha, Tanzania

From 2nd to 6th December 2025, a team of students from St. Anne Githunguri Girls Secondary School will travel to Arusha, Tanzania to take part in the Amani Club Regional Debate Competition, showcasing their communication skills and commitment to peacebuilding.

St. Anne Githunguri Girls Secondary School is proud to announce that a group of our talented students will be travelling to Arusha, Tanzania, from 2nd to 6th December 2025, to participate in the Amani Club Regional Debate Competition.

This prestigious event brings together young debaters from across East Africa to engage in meaningful discussions centered on peace, leadership, and community development. Representing both our school and Kenya, our students will compete in various debate sessions designed to promote critical thinking, teamwork, and cross-cultural understanding.

The Amani Club initiative is one of the most impactful platforms empowering youth to become ambassadors of peace in their communities. Our delegation has been preparing diligently with the guidance of their debate coaches and club patrons, demonstrating excellent mastery of topics related to peacebuilding and sustainable development.
